Depart Entebbe by air for Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s most scenic and biodiverse protected areas. After settling into your lodge positioned near the Victoria Nile, head out for an evening game drive introducing the park’s varied landscapes and wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner overlooking the river.

This morning, venture into the northern sector of the park for a guided game drive across open plains and woodland habitats. Wildlife sightings may include giraffes, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, lions, leopards, and various antelope species. In the afternoon, board a river launch along the Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls, where hippos gather along the banks and crocodiles bask near the water as the river surges dramatically through the narrow gorge.

Begin the morning with a final game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park before journeying from the Rift Valley toward the forested highlands of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch at your lodge, visit a local nursing school and hospital to learn how educational programs are helping train future healthcare professionals and strengthen services within surrounding communities.

Today is devoted to Uganda gorilla trekking in the mist-covered rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where steep terrain and dense vegetation create an atmospheric setting for this rare wildlife encounter. Accompanied by experienced trackers, hike through tangled forest in search of a habituated gorilla family, spending up to one hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch mothers shelter infants, juveniles tumble playfully, and a silverback maintain quiet authority over the group. After returning to your lodge, the evening concludes with a chef-led culinary experience, enjoyed beneath the African night sky as you reflect on this extraordinary day.

Set out once more into the forest for a second gorilla trek, deepening your understanding of these endangered primates and their environment. Each encounter offers new insight into family dynamics and habitat conservation. Return to your lodge later in the day and gather for a farewell dinner reflecting on your journey through Uganda’s diverse landscapes.
